LeslieA, We would advise to not using Sakrete 5000 Plus Concrete Mix less than 2 inches in depth. You may be better served to using the Sand Mix Topping and Bedding Mix. Sand mix does not contain any large aggregate. It is a sand and Portland cement mix that is a 5,000 psi. after 28 days. It can be used at a minimum of 1/2 in depth.
